Roblox Education's Amazing Year

Our first year of Roblox education initiative has had an incredible start. We are proud to announce that we have reached over 25,000 students with the help of 84 organizations in 22 different countries!

Online Demand for Roblox Education

Our summer Jurassic World Creator Challenge campaign which was a self paced, beginner creator challenge had over 4.5 million page views. Students had the chance to earn Roblox avatar items and prizes by helping Blue the dinosaur, escape an exploding volcano. Featuring step-by-step tutorials and a unique tropical island template, the lessons exposed students to 3D game design while coding obstacles and falling explosions. No prior gaming or coding experience was required, and we saw over 270,000 games published as a result. Educators are welcome to continue using both the template and online content.

Educator Success with Roblox

"Roblox is an amazing environment in which to gain coding and design experience, with creators constantly iterating and releasing their work. Kids can easily publish and receive feedback at any stage of the building process, and those interactions help forge whatever they imagine into a remarkable game."
